Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declined to apologize twice during Friday night’s interview with Fox News‘ Brett Baier after the contentious news conference in the Oval Office earlier in the day.
Baier asked Zelensky, “Do you think you owe an apology to President Trump?”
He responded, “I’m thankful to President Trump and to congress’s bipartisan support…We are strategic partners, and even in such tough dialogue…I think that we have to be on the same side…to stop Putin.”
