A woman who jumped on the trend of finding out what her dog would look like as a human was left speechless when she realized his human version was very familiar.

Lois, who gave her first name only, lives in Aberdeen, Scotland, with her husband Neil and 10-year-old chihuahua dog Louie.

She described Louie the dog to Newsweek as her “first love,” joking: “Neil has been third wheel in our relationship.”

Recently, as an online trend took over the internet with people using ChatGPT to see what their dogs would look like as humans, Lois decided to take part, thinking it would be “funny to try it out with our dog.”

And while she first laughed at seeing her dog as an AI human, she then had to pause and look closer—because Louie’s human form looked almost identical to her husband.

In a video on Lois’ TikTok account @loiswilkinson0 on April 14, Lois first shared a photo of the fluffy, ginger-haired chihuahua and wrote: “Thought it’d be funny to ask ChatGPT to turn my dog into a human.”

Lois took part in an AI trend showing what her dog might look like as a human.

She then showed Louie’s human version: a young man with auburn hair in a side parting, facial hair, and dressed nicely in a fur-collared jacket and jeans. She wrote that she “laughed at the result…then paused.”

Because, as the next slide showed, Louie in human form looked precisely like her husband—even down to the face, hair and outfit.

She wrote: “Apparently, I married my dog. In human form. Send help.”

TikTok users were in hysterics, awarding the video more than 30,000 likes, as one asked the burning question: “Real question is, who you met first?”

“Wow that’s scary,” another wrote with a laughing emoji, while another declared: “That is hilarious, love your taste in companions!”

And as one person summed it up: “God forbid a girl’s got a type.”

Lois’ attempt is one of many that has gone viral since the pet-to-human AI trend took hold online Social media sites such as TikTok and Reddit have seen floods of post, with people using ChatGPT to upload a photo of their animal and ask for a human version of it.

Users can tweak the image, answering questions from the AI bot, such as whether they want the result to be outside or indoors, and the pet’s age and sex.

Lois told Newsweek she “absolutely wasn’t expecting” Louie’s human form to look like her husband, but watching it go viral has been “one of the most unexpected and entertaining moments I’ve had online.”

“The comments section took it to a whole new level,” she said. “People really ran with the ‘you married your dog’ plot twist, and I loved seeing everyone’s creative takes and reactions.”

As for Neil, Lois said she showed him the photo of human Louie, and “he’s taken it well.”

“Slightly alarmed, mildly offended, but mostly amused,” Lois said.
