Rapper Wiz Khalifa has gifted social media star Haliey Welch, otherwise known as the viral “Hawk Tuah Girl,” a weed vape while appearing on her podcast.
Welch became an online hit after she was asked a question in the street about her sex life by Tim & Dee TV—two YouTube creators who conduct street interviews. The video was uploaded to YouTube, with Welch going viral for using the soundalike “hawk tuah” description of an intimate act that makes “a man go crazy in bed.”
The internet star has since launched her podcast, Talk Tuah. According to teaser photos and videos posted on social media, Tuesday’s episode features special guest Khalifa, with the two photographed smoking together. And in a video posted to X, formerly Twitter, Welch revealed the present the rapper gifted her for the occasion.
Newsweek emailed a spokesperson for Welch and Khalifa for comment on Tuesday outside of normal business hours.
“Thx Mr Wiz @wizkhalifa [fire emoji],” Welch captioned the clip, which had more than 131,000 views at the time of writing. In it, she is holding a package while the rapper looks on.
“Smoke on that thing,” she read out in the video before holding up a vape and asking Khalifa: “This is the best gift I have ever received. ‘Violet Sky,’ is this yours?”
Khalifa confirmed it was with a simple “yeah” and a nod of the head. Violet Sky is a cannabis strain released in 2023 by the brand Khalifa Kush that was hand-selected by the rapper.
“omg I wanna smoke with both of yall,” one person commented, to which Welch responded: “Yes!”
Ahead of the episode, a carousel post was shared on the Talk Tuah Instagram account. In the first photo, Khalifa is holding a lighter while Welch is holding a lit joint. In the next snap, Khalifa can be seen rolling the joint with a tray and grinder on his lap.
“LIVING YOUNG WILD AND FREE THIS TUESDAY [eyes emoji] @wizkhalifa,” the caption reads.
People took to the comments to express how impressed they were that Khalifa was on the episode, with one person writing: “Nah I ain’t gon cap she got Wiz, she fire for this one.” “Cap” is a slang term that means “to lie” or “to make a false statement.”
“Now I’m finally a little jealous of this girl,” someone else wrote.
A third person added: “The collab we didn’t know we needed.”
A photo of the two was also shared on the podcast account’s Instagram story with the caption, “Getting highly educated this Tuesday [green leaves emoji].” A comment box was also added, with the text: “Drop what munchie you’ll be eating during this episode [cry-laughing emoji].”

In October, Welch celebrated an impressive milestone after her podcast hit 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. She shared her reaction to her achievement on the podcast’s official Instagram account, where she unboxed a silver-colored plaque sent from YouTube.
“Just getting started ‼️” she captioned the post.
In the clip, Welch can be seen opening the box and taking out the plaque saying “Oh s***.” When the social media star was told what it was, she responded: “How do I get the gold one?”
An unseen person off-camera replied: “That’s when you get to 1 million,” to which Welch promised: “We’ll get there at some point.”
At the time of writing, her podcast has 193,000 subscribers on the video platform.
