The New York Jets have undergone some big changes this offseason. After a dismal 2024 season, the team moved on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers and brought in a new coaching staff, looking to improve in 2025.
In free agency, the team made a few notable additions in a bid to improve the roster ahead of the draft. Quarterback Justin Fields, safety Andre Cisco, and cornerback Brandon Stephens were the team’s biggest additions.

Now, the team is preparing for the 2025 NFL Draft. With the No. 7 pick in the first round, the team should have an opportunity to add an immediate impact player.
Today, let’s identify the three prospects who make the most sense for the Jets with their first round pick.
Armand Membou, OL, Missouri
One of the most common names associated with the Jets has been Missouri offensive lineman Armand Membou.
Membou is one of the top tackle prospects in this class thanks to his ideal size and elite play as both a pass protector and run blocker. The Jets need to add a right tackle specifically, after veteran Morgan Moses left in free agency.
In 2024, Membou earned an elite 90.6 Pro Football Focus grade. The tackle played all but one of his 801 snaps at right tackle in 2024, and didn’t allow a single sack or quarterback hit.
In New York, Membou could start at right tackle opposite 2024 first-round pick Olu Fashano, giving the team an enviable young tackle duo.
Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
If the Jets want to add an offensive playmaker, Tyler Warren may be the best option.
Warren is an elite tight end prospect who helps out in multiple phases. The tight end caught a whopping 104 passes for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024. Warren also rushed 26 times for 218 yards and four scores on the ground.
In New York, Warren would immediately start at tight end, filling a huge need for the team. The Jets lost Tyler Conklin in free agency, leaving Jeremy Ruckert as the team’s current starter.
Warren would not only be an elite pass-catcher, he would also help improve the run game by being an elite blocker.
Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
If the Jets decide to go for defense, the team could look no further than Mason Graham.
There’s no guarantee that Graham makes it to the Jets, as the lineman has frequently been linked to the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, if Graham does fall, he would be a perfect fit for the Jets alongside Quinnen Williams.
In 2024, Graham collected 45 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. The defender earned First-team All-American honors as a result of his impressive campaign and solidifed himself as one of the draft’s best prospects.
