Rhea Ripley had a scary experience with a WWE fan at her home on a day that was supposed to be filled with love. Wrestlers and celebrities deal with these issues when fans cross the line and take things too far.
Whether that is sending fan mail or stalking them at airports, they must take extra safety precautions. Ripley previously wrote the following message via Twitter/X about fans not respecting her privacy and that they should never send mail to her house.
She wrote, “Shouldn’t have to say this… Do not ever send fan mail to my house. That is by mail, or SELF DELIVERED! That is 100% not ok.” This is before the footage came out of her talking about it to a fellow WWE star.
In a video published on Logan Paul’s YouTube channel, she revealed that a Ripley fan actually showed up at her home on Valentine’s Day. The fan, a female, stood at her door for around 15 minutes while smiling into the camera.
Ripley stated, “Yeah, so I saw on the Ring [home security system] on Valentine’s Day someone was at my door, and I was watching it. This chick was there for like probably 15 minutes just like smiling into my camera like the movie Smile, and I was like, ‘Oh no.'”

Ripley is married to fellow professional wrestler Matthew Adams, known as Buddy Matthews. They publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2022, became engaged in 2023, and were married in June 2024.
Matthews previously worked in WWE as Buddy Murphy, where he found success as a former NXT Tag Team Champion and also held the Cruiserweight Title. He is currently working in AEW. Ripley is slated to defend the Women’s World Title against IYO SKY next week on Monday Night Raw, the fallout edition of the flagship show of WWE from the Elimination Chamber.
If she can get past SKY, she will then take on at WrestleMania 41 the winner of Saturday’s Elimination Chamber match from Toronto, which features Liv Morgan vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Bianca Belair vs. Bayley vs. Naomi vs. Roxanne Perez.
