The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct will last for about 60 minutes, and will show off the Switch 2’s hardware and upcoming games for the system. Games for the original Nintendo Switch are not expected to be announced during the presentation, but some cross-generation titles – Metroid Prime 4, for example, is expected to be one – may be mentioned.
How to Watch the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct
The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct will be hosted on Nintendo’s official YouTube page, where it will be livestreamed. We’ve embedded the stream below:
The stream will also be available on Nintendo’s official Twitch page, which is typically a few seconds ahead of the YouTube stream. It’s not enough to be massively ahead, but if you’re a super fan that needs the new information as early as you possibly can, Twitch is the way to go.
Nintendo Switch 2 Gameplay Stream Details
Nintendo has also announced two gameplay streams featuring hands-on gameplay of Nintendo Switch 2 games. Those streams will take place at 10:00am EST on April 3 and April 4 — immediately after the Direct on April 3, and then again 24 hours later. These streams are expected to include a host of new details about the games featured in them, but we won’t know exactly what they contain until after the main Direct.
These streams will also take place on the official Nintendo YouTube and Twitch pages.
