The NFL Draft is officially 33 days away. It’s common for people to say it is too early to make a mock draft, which is usually true, but it is starting to get to the point where it actually isn’t too early. Whether it actually is too early or not for a mock draft, here is version 2.0.

After less than a week to process team needs and draft prospects, here is another full first-round mock draft. This time around, there are no trades.
1. Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward, QB, Miami
As per usual, Cam Ward goes first overall. The Titans could trade down, but that seems less likely as the draft draws nearer, and the team glances at Will Levis at the top of their QB depth chart.
2. Cleveland Browns – Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Browns need some excitement again on the roster after losing Jameis Winston in free agency, so they bring Shedeur Sanders, son of Deion. Sanders is a good quarterback with volatile perspectives, but has to be better than Kenny Pickett.
3. New York Giants – Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn St.
The Giants could use a backup quarterback for Jameis Winston, but they settle for the best pass rusher in the draft in Abdul Carter. They will likely take a QB later in the draft, most likely in the second round, to learn from Winston next season.
4. New England Patriots – Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
Part of the fun of drafting Travis Hunter is he can play whichever position his team needs more out of CB and WR. The Patriots clearly need a WR1, so that is where he will start, maybe sprinkling in at slot corner on clear passing downs.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars – Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
No matter how boring it is, Graham will continue to get mocked to the Jaguars because it just makes too much sense. They need help on the interior defensive line, so they take the best one in the draft.
6. Las Vegas Raiders – Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise St.
A fun player but a boring pick, Jeanty goes to the Raiders, as usual for a mock draft at this point. The Heisman runner-up should bring some life to the Raiders offense along with new QB Geno Smith.
7. New York Jets – Tyler Warren, TE, Penn St.
The Jets need better blockers and pass catchers, so they address both with Warren. After losing Davante Adams and Tyler Conklin, the team needs more firepower besides Garrett Wilson to support Justin Fields.
8. Carolina Panthers – Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Another team in need of pass catchers, the Panthers could use a tall target, strong target to help him throw down the field more easily. McMillan brings a great combination of size and athleticism the team lacks currently.
9. New Orleans Saints – Will Campbell, OT, LSU
The Saints are in a rough spot financially after doing voodoo magic with the cap, meaning they need to add a ton more talent in the draft. They take the best player left on the board to help out the offensive line at tackle or guard.
10. Chicago Bears – Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
A player who has shot up draft boards, Membou seems like a consensus top-10 pick at this point. He joins the Bears who have already revamped the entire interior offensive line to help Ben Johnson copy the Lions.
11. San Francisco 49ers – Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
The 49ers need bodies on defense after losing seemingly everyone in free agency, so they take arguably the best defender left in Barron. The top player they lost was Charvarious Ward to the Colts, so a corner replacement makes the most sense.
12. Dallas Cowboys – Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
With the Micah Parsons contract situation still up in the air and him bringing some negative press to the team, the Cowboys draft a player who can play opposite him as well as potentially replace him in Walker.

13. Miami Dolphins – Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
The Dolphins need more help protecting Tua Tagovailoa, so they take a versatile, talented offensive lineman in Banks. The Dolphins need to get healthy on offense again and get back to running the ball a lot under Mike McDaniel.
14. Indianapolis Colts – Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Not quite as versatile as Warren, Loveland still provides a mismatch in the passing game for the Colts offense. It is another boring pick often made in mocks, but like the others, it just makes perfect sense.
15. Atlanta Falcons – Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
The Falcons could use a speedster across from Drake London, so they add Golden after his huge combine performance. A receiving core of London, Golden, and Darnell Mooney is fantastic for the development of Michael Penix.
16. Arizona Cardinals – Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The Cardinals need help at multiple spots on defense, with one being in their secondary. They add a top corner talent in Johnson, who is only available at this spot due to injury concerns.
17. Cincinnati Bengals – Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
The Bengals could use pass-rush help opposite Trey Hendrickson, and could even use a potential replacement if he decides to hold out or gets traded. The Bengals went all in on offense, so they need cheap, talented defenders in the draft.
18. Seattle Seahawks – Grey Zabel, OT, North Dakota St.
The Seahawks offense is starting to come together after adding Cooper Kupp and Sam Darnold, but they still need help on the offensive line. They add Zabel, who can play all over the offensive line for them.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Another consistently mocked pick, the Buccaneers need youth on defense, especially at linebacker. They added a talented young Alabama defender, which is usually a good idea.
20. Denver Broncos – Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
The Broncos need a running back badly after a rough year for their committee of backs last season. Hampton joins the team behind an elite offensive line, where he can challenge Jeanty for Offensive Rookie of the Year.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers – Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Steelers could use a quarterback and running back, but the top guys are off the board, making secondary the next best option. They settle for Starks, who is another draft faller that could turn into a steal.
22. Los Angeles Chargers – Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio St.
The Chargers took Ladd McConkey last year, who seemed almost boring because of how good he was, and they take Egbuka, who falls into the same category. People say he lacks upside, but maybe he’s just really good at football already.
23. Green Bay Packers – Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
The Packers need help on the defensive line to stop the Lions’ rushing attack, so they add the second defensive tackle off the board out of Michigan. In a tough NFC North, the Packers need all the help they can get on defense.
24. Minnesota Vikings – Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
The Vikings take a defensive tackle for the same reasons as the Packers. They need help stopping the Lions’ rushing attack and the new and likely improved Bears offense.
25. Houston Texans – Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio St.
After inexplicably trading multiple offensive linemen, including top left tackle Laremy Tunsil, the Texans get rewarded by adding Simmons, a good tackle prospect in what seems like a relatively deep class.
26. Los Angeles Rams – Jaxon Dart, QB, Ole Miss
While someone may trade up ahead of them to take Dart, the Rams would be happy to have a young quarterback to learn from Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford. Stafford is 37 years old, so they will need to replace him soon anyway.
27. Baltimore Ravens – Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
With the pass rushers getting shuffled down a bit in this mock, the Ravens are able to snag Williams, another top defender prospect out of Georgia. If the Ravens want to beat the Bills and Chiefs in the playoffs, they need more pressure on the edges.
28. Detroit Lions – Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Lions need depth and youth on the defensive line after an injury-riddled season, so they take Stewart, another promising athletic edge rusher among the many in this draft class.
29. Washington Commanders – James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
Another draft faller that is either held in high regard or left out of the first round entirely, the Commanders add a potential draft steal. The team is already on the rise and just needs to continue adding top talent to become perennial contenders.
30. Buffalo Bills, Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
The Bills snag a draft riser in Emmanwori after having a historic combine performance. They need help tackling in the secondary after allowing the most yards after catch last season.
31. Kansas City Chiefs – Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
The Chiefs need help in both trenches, but after attempting to address the offensive line in free agency, they focus on defense first. Chris Jones is getting up there in age too, so he could use more help on the D-line.
32. Philadelphia Eagles – Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
The Eagles want to maintain their identity of elite offensive line play, so they add more first-round talent to the mix. Booker serves as a replacement for Mekhi Becton, who they lost to the Chargers in free agency.
