The Chicago White Sox are reportedly still attempting to trade their superstar outfielder, Luis Robert Jr., this season. Robert is one of the only players on the White Sox roster who would garner trade attention.
It would take quite a haul for the White Sox to give up Robert, but there are quite a few teams who could be willing to part ways with some prospects to land the star outfielder.
Jim Bowden of The Athletic recently predicted the White Sox would trade Robert to the Cincinnati Reds in a blockbuster deal.

Here’s the full trade proposed by Bowden to send Robert to Cincinnati:
- Cincinnati Reds receive: OF Luis Robert Jr.
- Chicago White Sox receive: SS Edwin Arroyo, SS Tyson Lewis, RHP Luke Hayden
This trio of prospects would be the exact kind of return the White Sox would need to land to make a Robert deal worthwhile.
The Reds need to add a right-handed outfielder to capitalize on the time they have Elly De La Cruz in a Cincinnati uniform.
Robert, 27, has three years of team control left on his contract. He was an All-Star and Silver Slugger winner in 2023 after he slashed .264/.315/.542 with 38 home runs and 36 doubles.
The righty struggled last season, but he’s primed for a big year this season. If the Reds can add him to the lineup alongside De La Cruz and Matt McLain, they’ll be in a much better spot.
Robert could slug 35 or 40 home runs with 100 RBIs in a solid season while playing in the hitter-friendly confines of Great American Ballpark.
