The Lakers have been battling multiple injuries over the past few weeks but they’ve managed to stay afloat in the playoff picture. Los Angeles enters this game with the Bulls as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference standings, holding a record of 43-26 on the season.
This team has gone 5-5 over their past 10 games overall and will try to get back on track against Chicago. But they have seen a few players be listed on the injury report for this game.
Most notably, stars LeBron James and Luka Doncic are listed. Doncic was listed as probable for the game and will be playing against the Bulls.

But for James, he has been out for two weeks due to a groin injury he suffered. Los Angeles has been encouraged by his recovery process and the veteran has been working to get back.

If the Lakers want to do anything of significance this season, they will need both stars healthy and on the court. Los Angeles believes heavily in their ability against anyone in the NBA and they want to be clicking as the postseason approaches.

But Chicago won’t make things easy for them and they are fighting for their own playoff standing. The Bulls have surprised a lot of people this year and are directly in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.

Chicago enters this game with a record of 30-40 for the year, sitting in the No. 9 spot in the East. They have won six of their past 10 games and will try to spoil the Lakers’ fun tonight.
The fans in Los Angeles could be in for a good game. With both sides fighting for their playoff lives, it could create a competitive environment.
