Kristen Bell is hosting the 2025 SAG Awards — and her award fit may feature a surprise that no one saw coming.

The Nobody Wants This star shared a couple of videos on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, February 23, before taking the stage.

In one video, Bell, 44, said that she had a feeling that the show was going to be “really good.” She whispered such into the camera while sitting in hair and makeup.

In a subsequent video, Bell appeared in a bathroom, covering up with a towel. She came around a corner wearing an adult diaper.

“Hey! Quick question,” she said, using a bath towel to cover her upper half. “Do you ever come right back from Mexico and have to go to an award show? Try a pull-up underneath your dress,” she said, doing a shimmy in front of the camera. Whomever was recording could be heard laughing in the background. Bell used the hashtag “#bestdressed” to caption the video.

Bell was announced as the host for the show in December.

“Thrilled to be hosting the SAG Awards again this year. I’m honored to be asked back and can’t wait to share the evening with my fellow actors, doing what we do best… celebrating ourselves,” Bell said in a statement posted on the Screen Actors Guild Awards’ official website.

Earlier in the day, Bell teased what fans could expect to see during the show. The main thing that’s been on her mind? Wicked.

“It’s been a struggle not to make the whole thing about Wicked because I just think it’s been the most important film we’ve ever made. I say ‘we’ because even though I wasn’t really a part of it, I feel like I know some people involved, so I can say ‘we,'” she told People magazine in an article published earlier in the day.

In addition to hosting the show, Bell is also nominated for an award. She is going up against Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear), Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) and Jean Smart (Hacks) in the outstanding performance by a female actor category. Bell has been nominated for her role as Joanne in Nobody Wants This, which co-stars Adam Brody. He is also nominated for his role in the series.
