Initially, Hulu dropped a new poster that showcased a much older Hank, Bill, Boomhauer, and Dale. Now, the streamer has unveiled the new opening, which brings in a much older Bobby Hill.
What’s interesting about the opening is that it borrows from the original “King of the Hill” series that ran on FOX. We see the same images of the Hill family, along with John Redcorn, Joseph and Nancy Gribble, and more. However, there are some major life updates that have been revealed.
The new opening shows that Hank, Peggy, and Bobby moved out of Arlen. Hank is also replaced with an unknown African American character. Then, it appears that Dale Gribble has run for public office in Arlen, specifically to be the mayor.
After some time, Hank, Peggy, and Bobby return to Arlen. They remove a sign and line up next to one another, giving us the best look at the older Bobby.
What was known about the “King of the Hill” revival is that Bobby is pursuing a career in the culinary arts. Now, the world finally gets to see how much older and bigger the youngest Hill is.
