Romania comes in on a winning streak, taking victories in six consecutive games, all part of the 2024-25 UEFA Nations League. The nation is looking to get back to the World Cup for the first time since 1998 when it advanced to the Round of 16. The team is coming off a 2024 Euro Round of 16 run.
Bosnia-Herzegovina is looking to win a match for the first time since October 2023, when it defeated Liechtenstein in UEFA Euro qualifying. 2024 was rough for the nation, losing seven times and drawing twice. The nation’s last World Cup appearance was a 2014 group-stage exit.
After this match, they will be in action again on March 24, when Bosnia-Herzegovina plays Cyprus and Romania plays San Marino. Their next head-to-head match is scheduled for Nov. 15.
