A fierce NFC North rivalry writes another chapter on Sunday as the Green Bay Packers travel to Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears. The matchup will be even more exciting than usual this weekend not only because both teams will be desperate for a win to improve their playoff hopes, but because both will be deploying very exciting young quarterbacks, Jordan Love and Caleb Williams.

The Packers enter this matchup sitting third in the NFC North despite their 6-3 record, trailing the 8-1 Detroit Lions and 7-2 Minnesota Vikings. It’s very hard to argue that any division in the NFL this season is as loaded as the NFC North.

Most recently, Green Bay fell 24-14 to Detroit in part due to a rare poor performance by Love. The 26-year-old passer completed just 23 of his 39 pass attempts for 273 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in the important matchup. Jayden Reed did have a good performance for Green Bay, catching five passes for 113 yards.
On the other hand, the Bears sit at 4-5 thus far on the season. The Bears likewise are coming off a tough loss, though Chicago’s was a bit more troubling, as the Bears fell 19-3 to the New England Patriots, who were 2-7 heading into that matchup. Making matters worse, Williams had another tough showing, completing merely 16 of his 30 pass attempts for 120 yards and no touchdowns.
Will the Bears be able to bounce back at home this weekend and shock the Packers, who will be hungry for a vital win in their playoff chase? Or will Green Bay get back on track on the road against its division rival? Who will win the duel of Love vs. Williams?
