Ward is the big headline here. The potential No. 1 overall pick skipped throwing drills at the NFL combine, so Monday will be his only chance to impress scouts and cement his spot at the top of the draft. The Heisman finalist is regarded as one of the two top quarterbacks in this class along with Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, but most evaluators have Ward as the better of the two.
Ward won’t be the only Miami player working out on Monday though. Elijah Alston, Elijah Arroyo, Tyler Baron, Simeon Barrow Jr., Andy Borregales, Sam Brown Jr., Anthony Campbell, Zach Carpenter, C.J. Clark, Marley Cook, Jacolby George, Damien Martinez, Francisco Mauigoa, Cam McCormick, Mason Napper, Daryl Porter Jr., Meesh Powell, Xavier Restrepo and Jalen Rivers will work out as well.
