The 2016 College World Series champions are trying to be the first mid-major team since that season to win the title.
Oregon State, the 2018 champions, are 48-14-1 on the year after beating Louisville 4-3 in the first round. Leading 3-1 entering the ninth, Louisville plated two runners to tie the game up at three runs apiece. However, the Beavers had an answer, as Gavin Turley hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth.
