The Nuggets, having recently fired championship-winning head coach Mike Malone, surely won’t help Denver’s confidence this postseason. Maybe the team can rally around his dismissal.
Denver and Los Angeles split their season series this year, with both teams winning two games a piece. The two sides haven’t met since Jan. 8, a blowout 126-103 win for the Nuggets in which they were led by Murray and Westbrook, who combined for 40 points. It will be hard to take much out of that for this matchup, however, as Leonard and Jokic both sat out that game.
