Greg Norman’s New Venture to Help Sunday Golfers, Amid LIV Golf Demotion

Greg Norman has been been at odds with the PGA Tour for decades. That made it very easy for him to be painted as the ‘bad guy’ when he joined LIV Golf as its CEO.

That ever-lasting feud made ongoing negotiations between LIV and the PGA Tour more difficult. That culminated in LIV naming Scott O’Neill as the new CEO. Norman remains a part of the organization, but in a lesser role.

But ‘The Shark’ has always made it abundantly clear that his primary goal is to help grow the game. If you do not believe him, you are fooling yourself.

Maybe that is why he has agreed to partner with Caddy Time as their new brand ambassador.

Caddy Time is an App that connects golfers to qualified caddies anywhere in the world. The App launched in September of 2021, being the first to the marketplace that directly links golfers to caddies.

They have already have more than 30,000 users worldwide. But Norman is looking to take this thing global.

“Greg Norman is a global golf figure and force who has succeeded on and off the golf course his entire career. Caddy Time is honored to have Greg Norman joining our mission,” said Caddy Time CEO, M Brett Jaffee.

Only one percent of golf courses in North America offer a caddie to their golfers. Most ‘everyday’ golfers have no idea just how much a caddie can make a difference.

But I can personally speak to that difference. Having spent some time at PXG’s Media Xperience a couple of years back, I was provided a caddie and was blown away by how helpful, detailed and informative he was. I literally shaved strokes off my scorecard that day.

The level of expertise these men and women bring to the game is off the charts.

The App will be expanding to New Zealand and Australia, making Norman the perfect face for the brand.

“Partnering with Caddy Time isn’t just about business; it’s about my passion for golf, innovation, legacy, and moving the game forward,” Norman said.

“I’ve dedicated my career to pushing boundaries both on and off the golf course. Joining a brand that shares my passion for performance and enhancing the golfer experience allows us to give back to the sport, driving it to new heights and elevating the future of the game.”

Whether you are looking to beat your buddies during a skins game, or simply improve your knowledge of your home course, the Caddy Time App is a great place to invest.
