Elon Musk clashed with a reporter after being questioned about his stance on President Donald Trump‘s policies.
In one of his first interviews since leaving the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk told a CBS reporter David Pogue to “stick to the subject of the day” after being asked if he supported Trump’s move to ban international students.
When Pogue also asked if his companies had been affected by Trump’s tariff policies, Musk said that “tariffs always affect things a little bit.”
Musk previously voiced opposition to Trump’s tariff policies – which have a huge impact on the supply chains his tech companies rely on – even when he was still at DOGE.
