Hearts have melted at a tiny puppy getting used to her new home—and being completely unaware the house has a second floor.
Golden retriever puppy Stormi recently became the adored pet of owners Gael and Ale, and they immediately created a TikTok account, @stormithegoldenguauguau, to share her adventures.
Despite having been created just over a month ago, Stormi’s account has already racked up more than 650,000 likes, as viewers flocked to watch the adorable, fluffy puppy on her first trip to the vet, causing chaos in her new home, and on runs with her owner.
And it all started with her first video, posted on June 17, which boasts more than 3 million views.
Words over the clip invited viewers to “watch my puppy figure out a second floor exists.”
And as her owner stands on the second floor, looking over at Stormi and all her new items, including a dog bed and puppy pad, she softly calls her name.
Stormi, however, cannot figure out where the noise is coming from. And every time she says her name, Stormi turns her head left and right, looking baffled.
Laughing, her owner tells her to look up. But while Stormi has some idea of where the sound is coming from and walks in that direction, she hasn’t yet realized that the sound is coming from up above.
Stormi jumps up on the couch, curiously sniffing and patting the cushions as though her owner might be hiding—until eventually she looks up, and spots her leaning over the bannister.
And the moment she spots her owner, her little tail begins wagging furiously, and she barks as if to say: “I found you!”
TikTok users loved the sweet clip, one commenter writing: “The lights are on, but nobody’s on the ground floor,” and another joking: “The two barks at the end roughly translate as ‘WITCH! WITCH!'”
“Never in my few weeks of living,” another joked, with one adding “God is tryna tell me something,” and another joining in: “Oh God, the voices are back.”
