The Buffalo Bills know it will be a tough task for them to get past the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC, but they continue to believe in themselves and each other.
One new addition to the team, rookie defensive tackle T.J. Sanders, is making his name known already. NFL.com writer Dan Parr believes Sanders will have the biggest impact out of all Bills rookies.

“I initially had Maxwell Hairston penciled in for this spot, and while he still could prove to be the most pivotal Bills rookie in 2025, I’m not sure anyone knows when he’ll first see significant playing time,” wrote Parr. “Tre’Davious White is clearly ahead of Hairston in the pecking order at corner as the first-round pick works his way back from a knee sprain. On the other hand, Sanders has flashed enough in camp to earn snaps as a rotational interior defensive lineman, where he can spell starter Ed Oliver at 3-technique or line up alongside Oliver in passing situations. With Larry Ogunjobi suspended for the first six games, the path is clear for Sanders to play a major role from Day 1. He has what it takes to create a push from the inside.”
Sanders will likely take advantage of the reps he gets in those first six weeks and forces the Bills coaching staff to make a decision regarding how snaps are split up. This may force Ogunjobi to take on a reduced role if Sanders dominates early for Buffalo.
Sanders coming on could also help Buffalo alleviate salary cap stress by potentially trading a defensive lineman like DaQuan Jones.
He was a menace for South Carolina over the last few seasons, and Sanders looks to showcase that same skillset for the Bills.
