Popular WWE star Bianca Belair has been out of action for several months due to injury, with fans probably wondering if and when she’ll return. A recent backstage update may give some indication of that timeline, as the former champion was recovering from a brutal injury.
Bianca last appeared at WWE’s WrestleMania 41 in April, where she competed against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match for the Women’s World Championship. Bianca lost the match, which also snapped her undefeated streak at WWE’s Super Bowl of professional wrestling.
Not only did she lose the match, but she also sustained several broken fingers on her left hand. Bianca revealed that after the event, she would take some time off to let those injuries heal.
It’s now been six months with Bianca appearing as a special guest referee at WWE’s Evolution 2 in July for Jade Cargill and Naomi’s match. However, Bianca has not returned to in-ring action yet.

A recent Q&A update from Fightful suggests that a return to the ring could be approaching. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that Bianca was backstage at WWE SmackDown in Salt Lake City, Utah, last week.
“Well…she was in town for Smackdown last week. I’ve mentioned this before, but her finger break was one of the worst that you can get. Specifically, the knuckle was affected. People in WWE didn’t think it was going to be that bad, because she reacted to it well backstage, but that’s just because she’s tougher than most,” he said in answering a fan’s question.
As of this writing, there’s still no official return date for Belair, but it’s encouraging that she’s been backstage with WWE talent. It could suggest a return is nearing for the popular WWE star.
She’s famously feuded with Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Asuka, and Charlotte Flair during her WWE career, but there’s likely much more on the way.
Bianca has generally worked in the babyface role, and the first-ever championship win by Jade Cargill could hint that a significant feud between the two is on the horizon.
