A pregnancy test company reacted to Megan Fox‘s announcement that she had a baby on the way.
On Monday the 38-year-old actor, who in 2023 spoke openly about suffering a miscarriage, took to Instagram to announce the news with two telling photos. In the first image, Fox poses covered in black paint, seemingly cradling a baby bump. The second shot was of a First Reponse pregnancy test that was positive. Fox tagged longtime partner Machine Gun Kelly in the post, confirming that he is the father of her baby.
First Response has taken to its Instagram page to share Fox’s post and congratulate the celebrity, simply writing: “Congratulations.”
It then reposted the photo of Fox cradling her baby bump and added a sticker that read: “Mom to be.”
Newsweek emailed a spokesperson for Fox for comment on Tuesday.
When Fox shared her pregnancy announcement on Instagram, she appeared to reference the fact that she had previously gone through a miscarriage, writing in the caption: “Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back 👼🏼❤️.”
Before her miscarriage, Kelly had announced Fox’s previous pregnancy at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, when he dedicated his performance to their “unborn child.”
Fox later opened up about the miscarriage in her book of poetry called Pretty Boys Are Poisonous: Poems: A Collection Of F***** Up Fairy Tales, which was published in 2023. The star wrote about an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks.
“I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh, but now / I have to say / goodbye,” she wrote, before later adding: “I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides.”

While promoting the book during an appearance on Good Morning America in November 2023, Fox spoke about going through the experience with Kelly.
“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately…trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?'” she said.
That same month, the Jennifer’s Body star spoke about the miscarriage during a conversation with Women’s Wear Daily, revealing she had experienced an ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy that occurs outside of the uterus. It is a life-threatening condition) years earlier.
“That experience was so much harder than I would’ve anticipated it being, and I’ve really analyzed ‘Why was that? Why was that so difficult for me?’ Because when I was younger, I had an ectopic pregnancy, I’ve had other things that I’m not going to say because God forbid the world will be in an uproar,” she said.
“But I’ve been through other similar issues, but not with someone who I was so in love with.”
In February 2024, Kelly released the song “dont let me go,” which includes the lyrics: “How can I live with the fact, that my hand wasn’t on her stomach when we lost the baby.”
Fox has three children from a previous relationship with Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8. Kelly shares his 15-year-old daughter Casie Colson Baker with former partner Emma Cannon.
