The Los Angeles Rams experienced a concerning situation during the week leading up to Week 9, as it was reported that star wide receiver Puka Nacua suffered a knee injury. The injury was far more concerning considering it was the same knee that kept Nacua out since Week 1.
Despite the knee injury, it was then reported that Nacua could still play in Week 9. Now, the Rams have made a final decision on playing Nacua despite his dealing with a questionable status and knee injury.
The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue announced that Nacua will be officially active for the game against the Seattle Seahawks. This is huge news for an offense that would have taken a big step back without the young receiver on the field.
Nacua was able to suit up in Week 8, after missing the last seven games. He did play in Week 1 but was ruled out early on due to the knee injury that he suffered. It was then revealed that he suffered a PCL sprain, which kept him out for a long time.
Nacua also suffered a knee injury during training camp when he suffered a burst bursa sack in his knee. This kept the young receiver out of most of training camp, but he was ready to go for Week 1 before suffering the PCL sprain.
The dynamic receiver made his presence known in Week 8, securing seven receptions for 106 yards.
