WWE Teases Major Heel Turn During Monday Night Raw

One WWE fan favorite on the “Monday Night Raw” brand might be undergoing a significant change. Jey Uso performed in a semifinal match in the Last Time is Now tournament against LA Knight on Monday. Uso thought he had the professional wrestling match won after hitting a splash, but Knight rolled him over and scored the pin.

After being pinned, Uso lost his temper and destroyed the Prime Hydration Station. It’s a rare moment for Uso, who usually plays the role of a fun-loving babyface. In recent weeks, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has shown signs of a character shift.

Potential Change for Jey Uso

WWE first hinted at Uso possibly ditching his current persona after he lost the top male prize on the “Monday Night Raw” brand. Uso’s run with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship didn’t last two full months, as Gunther regained the gold during the June 9 episode of “WWE Raw.”

Roman Reigns began giving Uso advice on how to reclaim his main event spot. “The OTC” urged Uso to stop caring about others and focus on himself. This even caused a rift between Uso and his brother Jimmy momentarily. While the two were able to put their differences aside ahead of “Survivor Series 2025,” time will tell if the situation has been solved permanently.

Uso is also coming off a loss in the men’s WarGames match this past Saturday. Uso teamed with Reigns, Jimmy, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk to take on Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul. A masked man entered the cage and delivered a stomp to Punk, allowing Breakker to score the pin for his team.
