One of the biggest games in all of college football is set for Saturday as the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes head north to Ann Arbor for an epic rivalry showdown with the No. 15 Michigan Wolverines.
Leading up to kickoff, both ESPN’s “College GameDay” and Fox Sports’ “Big Noon Kickoff” are on site outside The Big House to set the stage.
That also means longtime head coach and Buckeyes legend Urban Meyer, now an analyst for “Big Noon Kickoff,” is taking plenty of boos from the Michigan crowd. But that didn’t stop him from publicly trolling Wolverine fans the moment he was introduced.
As the sea of boos poured in, Meyer turned to the crowd and held up seven fingers, signaling his 7–0 all-time record as Ohio State’s head coach in matchups against Michigan.

Urban Meyer is widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches in college football history, with accomplishments stacked across multiple programs. He began at Bowling Green, moved to Utah, and then took over at Florida, where he won two national championships.
Meyer eventually landed in Columbus, spending seven seasons at Ohio State before stepping down and handing the program over to current head coach Ryan Day. He led the Buckeyes to a national title in 2014.
There isn’t a rivalry in college football quite like Ohio State–Michigan. Whether you’re currently involved in it as a player or coach or were once in the thick of it, the meaning is the same. It’s not a love-hate relationship — it’s all hate, and both sides prefer it that way.
Michigan has won the last four meetings, adding extra drama heading into Saturday, but Ohio State has largely dominated the series throughout the 2000s. The Wolverines still hold the all-time edge at 62-52-6.
