Nikki Bella Talks ‘Married Life’ With Popular WWE Star

Matthew Couden

Several days ago, WWE star Nikki Bella participated in “Monday Night Raw,” which featured two of her ex-boyfriends. The massive event at New York City’s Madison Square Garden celebrated John Cena in his final appearance on Raw. Also, it continued the tournament matches to determine his final opponent for next month.

Two of those matches occurred, including Solo Sikoa battling a mystery opponent. The surprise was none other than Nic Nemeth, better known as Dolph Ziggler, while working with WWE. As one would expect, the arrival of the former champion, who now works with TNA Impact Wrestling, created a massive pop.

Nikki had a romantic history with both Cena and Nemeth. The former WWE Divas Champion dated Nemeth for a while, but eventually their relationship ended. She had a much more public relationship with Cena, and they were engaged to be married. However, that engagement ended, and both individuals ultimately moved on.

Nonetheless, it made for some interesting moments, with Nikki’s ex-boyfriend and ex-fiance both at Raw, and Nikki getting a photo with Nemeth during a backstage reunion.

Amid those big moments and reunions at “Monday Night Raw,” Nikkie and her sister released a new episode of “The Nikki and Brie Show” on Monday in which they spoke with fellow WWE star Tatum Paxley. At the time of their interview, Paxley was still holding the NXT Women’s Championship belt she’d won a few weeks ago.

Many topics popped up during their chat, including how Tatum developed her wrestling character and how she felt about becoming a champion. However, Brie and Nikki also mentioned that Paxley recently got married and asked her about life now that she’s married to professional wrestler Javier Bernal.

“You know it’s so funny. It feels exactly the same as before. It’s just now we’re married. Everything with my husband Randy, we flow so well together, we’re just into the same things, and it’s just so smooth, and so like, peaceful,” she told them, adding, “Everything felt so right. During, before, after the wedding. I just felt, this is the man for me.”

Tatum’s husband, Javier Bernal, is also signed with WWE and on the NXT brand. According to Tatum, he was training her when she got there, and it took “like a year” before they began dating and he ended up being her “forever person.”

Nikki called it “so cute” and asked if Javier did anything special for her birthday, which she recently celebrated. She indicated she prefers staying at home with him, but he took her to get sushi and check out Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.

Brie asked if Tatum ever thought she’d marry a wrestler, and she confessed that it “was at the bottom of my priority list.” Interestingly enough, Brie married professional wrestler Bryan Danielson, and Nikki nearly married Cena. One has to wonder whether Nikki will still date professional wrestlers after her relationships with Nemeth and Cena, or has decided not to.
