Former WWE Star Teases Royal Rumble Return

A former WWE champion has teased an in-ring return to the company for the women’s Royal Rumble match. With WWE Survivor Series on November 29 marking the company’s final main roster Premium Live Event of 2025, attention will soon turn towards the 39th annual Royal Rumble.

The event will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on January 31, 2026. As ever with the Rumble event, speculation has already been abound regarding which surprise names could potentially show up.

While names such as Chris Jericho could potentially be in line for a return in the men’s Royal Rumble, another star from early 2000s WWE has now teased a potential entry in the women’s match. Speaking with Ring the Belle, former WWE Women’s Champion Jazz was asked about a potential Rumble return.

Jazz now works behind the scenes in WWE’s partner promotion TNA. In a light hearted response Jazz said that she would “definitely be prepared” to enter the match providing WWE give her enough notice beforehand.

Jazz said: “Give me a heads up so I can prepare myself. Don’t let it be a two week notice.”

“That’s all I ask, give me at least a month so I can prepare myself,” she continued. “More mentally, but physically as well, so I can get in the gym.

Work on my guns a little bit. Just give me a heads up and I will most definitely be prepared.”

She would also appear in the crowd at WWE Evolution in July. While she retired from in-ring competition in 2021, this year has also seen her return to the ring via TNA Knockout’s Championship number one contender’s battle royal on iMPACT in January.

Jazz’s potential return comes as her current promotion, TNA, is reportedly seeking a new media rights deal. There is an expectation that TNA will announce a new deal by the end of 2025, with AMC emerging as a potential new home for the promotion’s weekly programming.
