WWE Star Roman Reigns Opens Raw With Surprising Fan ReactionsU

WWE Smackdown Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns kicked off the go-home edition of WWE Raw in Birmingham, England, speaking about his Clash in Paris battle against Bronson Reed, and the fans participated heavily.

WWE fans have been noticeably loud in many venues overseas, and the UK’s bp pulse LIVE arena continued that trend.

Reigns enjoyed a lengthy crowd reaction as the crowd serenaded him with “Roman, Roman Reigns, Roman, Roman Reigns” repeatedly.

The singing chant lasted nearly 30 seconds and assisted Reigns with sticking it to his upcoming opponent, Reed, and former advocate, Paul Heyman.

After Heyman and Reed arrived at the top of the ramp, Heyman attempted to lead the crowd in a “Bronson, Bronson Reed” chant, but the fans didn’t want any part.

Instead, fans drowned that out with their Roman Reigns chants, reminding Heyman and Reed of the WWE star’s global popularity.

Reigns previously worked closely with Heyman during an acclaimed run with The Bloodline faction. During Birmingham’s Raw, fans also reminded Heyman and Reed that there is only one tribal chief.

An X account shared the opening chant highlights, with the WWE star soaking up the moment amid the fans’ outpouring of love.

In another eye-opening moment during Reigns’ speech to kick off Raw, he mentioned WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, among others.

“Cody predicted it, maybe a year and a half ago,” he started saying in his remarks.

However, the crowd quickly responded to Cody’s name with boos, causing Reigns to pause before reacting to them.

“Interesting,” the former champ and main-eventer said before continuing with additional remarks.

Reigns previously faced Rhodes twice in the main event of WWE’s WrestleMania, with split results. After losing in their first championship battle at WrestleMania 39, Rhodes unseated Reigns as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion last year at WrestleMania 40.

While Reigns will appear in a big match at this Sunday’s Clash in Paris, Cody will be on the sidelines. It’s unclear when the WWE Champion could next appear in a championship match, although it could be the upcoming WrestlePalooza on Saturday, September 20, in Indianapolis.

Meanwhile, Reigns has another challenging battle as he takes on Bronson Reed this weekend. He’ll look to reclaim his stolen sneakers and prove he’s one of the best in the business, likely receiving more crowd chants and serenades from the Paris fans.
