Most recently, they posted a 101-85 win over the Connecticut Sun on the road, behind a 26-point performance from Nneka Ogwumike and a triple-double from Skylar Diggins, who had 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists.
The Sparks had won five in a row and got an excellent addition to the lineup with the return of Cameron Brink, but they dropped their last matchup 89-74 to the Las Vegas Aces. Kelsey Plum led the team with 22 points and eight assists, with Rae Buerrell adding 17 off the bench, but they couldn’t make a 3-pointer, going just 4-for-24 (16.7%) for the game.
The Sparks defeated the Storm 98-67 back on June 17th in a Commissioner’s Cup Game, and will face each other two more times after tonight.
