Following her major victory at the Evolution premium live event, WWE reportedly has “significant plans” for Monday Night Raw superstar Stephanie Vaquer. A new report indicates that the company is preparing a major push for the rising star heading into the fall season.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, Vaquer is set to be positioned as a top star in the women’s division. Her recent win in the Evolution battle royal was just the beginning of this planned ascent.
A “Significant Push” Is Planned
The report states that a “significant push” is in the works for Vaquer. WWE’s marketing and creative departments are reportedly already working on “character upgrades” for her. This includes refinements to her overall on-screen presentation, although her signature horns are expected to remain part of her look.
The report also sheds light on her post-match interview at Evolution on July 13th. The interview was conducted by WWE executive Stephanie McMahon, a move that was reportedly a deliberate choice. The goal was to “elevate Vaquer by placing her alongside McMahon and positioning her as a major star going forward.”

From CMLL To WWE
Before signing with WWE in July 2024, Stephanie Vaquer was already an accomplished and respected international star. She was one of the top performers in Mexico’s legendary CMLL promotion, where she held the CMLL World Women’s Championship. She also made a name for herself in Japan, becoming a two-time NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion.
Her dark, intense, and hard-hitting style made her a highly sought-after free agent. She brought a wealth of experience and a ready-made main event presence with her to WWE.
A Fast-Tracked Champion
Vaquer’s journey through the WWE system has been a rapid one. During her initial run on the NXT brand, she was booked as a dominant force. She quickly captured the NXT Women’s North American Championship and later won the NXT Women’s Championship, proving that the company saw her as a top-tier talent from the very beginning.
She was officially called up to the main roster in the May 2025 draft, joining the Raw brand. Her victory in the Evolution battle royal, which earned her a future world title shot at the Clash in Paris event, was her biggest moment on the main roster to date.
With the full backing of the company, Stephanie Vaquer is being positioned as the next major force in the Raw women’s division.
