Chicago has won two in a row, including Saturday’s surprising 87-81 win over the Lynx.
Ariel Atkins hasn’t had the most consistent year since coming over from the Mystics in an offseason trade, but she stepped up against the Lynx, scoring 27 points on 12-for-21 shooting while adding three rebounds and two steals. Meanwhile, Angel Reese had another double-double, scoring 19 points while pulling down 11 boards. Kamila Cardoso had a double-double as well with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
On the losing side, Napheesa Collier led the Lynx with 26 points on 50 percent shooting. She added eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, and three blocks. Alanna Smith added six steals and two blocks, but it wasn’t enough to slow down a Sky team that hit the offensive glass hard, generating 13 offensive boards.
