Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, 39, has died following a shooting that occurred during the “No Kings” protest in downtown Salt Lake City on Saturday evening, according to Salt Lake City Police Chief Brian Redd.
Police have identified the suspect as Arturo Gamboa, 24, who was found with both a rifle and a gas mask in his backpack. The victim was struck during crossfire when security personnel confronted the armed suspect.

Two people wearing high visibility vests who were reportedly part of the march’s peacekeeping team were also detained.
