WWE Superstar Zoey Stark Carried Backstage After Suffering Brutal Injury

WWE Superstar Zoey Stark legitimately injured herself during her match against Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley in their Money in the Bank qualifier match on Monday Night Raw.

Stark was attempting to hit Sane with her patented springboard dropkick but landed incorrectly on her leg, causing her knee to bend awkwardly.

After being checked by the ring doctors, Stark attempted to walk backstage before being carried back.

There has been no official diagnosis announced by Stark or WWE.

Stark has had knee issues in the past, requiring surgery in 2021 to repair a torn ACL, MCL, and Meniscus.

Multiple professional wrestlers from various promotions have since sent their best wishes to Stark.

Stark has been wrestling professionally since 2013. She wrestled on the independent scene until 2021 in promotions like Vendetta Pro Wrestling, Ultra Championship Wrestling-Zero, and Future Stars of Wrestling.

On Jan. 29, 2021, Stark made her WWE debut on 205 Live before joining NXT in September. In 2023, she was called up to the main roster on Raw.

Stark is most well-known for her tag team partnership with Io Shirai, now known as Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky. The two won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Stark was also part of the stable Pure Fusion Collective with Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler, both of whom are now released.
