On Sunday, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic will meet on national television in a matchup between two talented teams out of the NBA‘s Eastern Conference.

Cleveland enters this matchup with a 56-10 on the season, the NBA‘s best record in 2025. The Cavaliers have won 16 games in a row and have been rolling as we approach this year’s playoffs.
Most recently, the Cavs defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 133-124 behind 20 points and nine assists from star guard Darius Garland, as well as 22 points and 11 rebounds out of blossoming big man Evan Mobley. Cleveland has been without superstar guard Donovan Mitchell for its last two games, making its continued dominance all the more impressive.

The Magic, meanwhile, have been one of this season’s biggest disappointments. After a solid breakout season for Orlando last season, the Magic have not been able to capitalize and keep the momentum going this campaign, in large part due to injuries but also because of poor shooting.
Heading into Sunday’s game, Orlando has most recently fallen 118-111 to the Minnesota Timberwolves despite a monstrous 43-point, 10-rebound performance by former No. 1 overall pick Paolo Banchero.
This is a battle of the league’s best and worst three-point shooting teams, as Orlando has hit just 30.9 percent of its triples, the worst mark in the NBA, while Cleveland is shooting a pristine 39.0 percent from three in 2024-25, the league’s tidiest rate.
