
Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte was arrested at Manila’s international airport Tuesday under an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant over allegations of crimes against humanity, the Philippine government said.
Duterte was arrested after arriving from Hong Kong. The ICC has been investigating the mass killings under Duterte’s deadly anti-drugs crackdown, President Ferdinand Marcos’ office said in a statement.
