
Conference tournaments in the NCAA are always some of the best basketball due to the pure excitement around them. The winners earn a guaranteed spot in the NCAA Tournament so there is a lot on the line.
The Big 12 has been one of the better conferences in college basketball for years and they continued that fact this season. Even with the new teams added to the conference, this fact has stayed the same.

The Big 12 Tournament will begin on March 11 and will conclude on March 15 at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN
Here is how the Big 12 Tournament bracket shakes out. We also have expert predictions for how the tournament could go.
First Round
No. 16 Colorado vs No. 9 Kansas: Kansas
The Jayhawks overwhelm Colorado to move on to the next round to face TCU.
No. 15 Arizona State vs No. 10 Kansas State: Kansas State
Kansas State moves on to the next round and will face off against West Virginia.
No 14. Oklahoma State vs No. 11 Utah: Utah
The Utes hold off Oklahoma State and now will face Baylor in the second round.
No. 13 UCF vs No. 12 Cincinnati: Cincinnati
The Bearcats stay alive against UCF and set up a matchup with Iowa State in the next round.
Second Round
No. 12 Cincinnati vs No. 5 Iowa State: Iowa State
Iowa State makes quick work of Cincinnati and moves on to face BYU.
No. 11 Utah vs No. 6 Baylor: Baylor
Baylor is able to take down the Utes and will face off against heavyweight Arizona in the next round.
No. 10 Kansas State vs No. 7 West Virginia: West Virginia
The Mountaineers keep going and will face Texas Tech in the next round.
No. 9 Kansas vs No. 8 TCU: Kansas
Kansas stays alive and sets up a highly-anticipated matchup with the top-seeded Houston Cougars.
Quarterfinals
No. 9 Kansas vs No. 1 Houston
Houston ends the Jayhawks run and moves on to the next round to face off against Iowa State.
No. 7 West Virginia vs No. 2 Texas Tech: West Virginia
The Mountaineers keep the dream alive and knock out the red Raiders to advance. They will face Arizona in the next round.
No. 6 Baylor vs No. 3 Arizona: Arizona
Despite Baylor being a tough team, the Wildcats grab this win and will face West Virginia.
No. 5 Iowa State vs No. 4 BYU: Iowa State
Iowa State punches its ticket to the final four of this tournament and will meet up with Houston.
Semifinals
No. 7 West Virginia vs No. 3 Arizona
Much like their first meeting this year, Arizona dominates West Virginia to head to the title game.
No. 5 Iowa State vs No. 1 Houston: Houston
Houston sets up a great title game by taking down Iowa State in the semifinals.
Championship
No. 3 Arizona vs No. 1 Houston: Arizona
Houston just barely beat the Wildcats last time out due to a poor second half from Arizona. They get their revenge and clinch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
