Ben Affleck and his son, Samuel, 12, were courtside for the Los Angeles Lakers vs Minnesota Timberwolves basketball game on Thursday, February 27. The Good Will Hunting star was all smiles sitting next to his son, whom he shares with ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
While there were plenty of candid shots taken, Samuel and his dad posed for photos during a break in the game. As Samuel has gotten older, he seems to be looking more and more like his famous mom.

Ben and Samuel cheered on the home team from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, both dressed casually. Ben wore a pair of black jeans with a light purple collared shirt and a gray suit jacket while his son opted for a pair of gray sweatpants and a Lakers sweatshirt. At one point, Samuel put a Lakers jersey over his hoodie.
Samuel seems to be quite the basketball fan, and has attended various games with his dad over the years. In February 2023, Ben brought Samuel to NBA All Star weekend, and the youngster got to meet one of the game’s most famous players — Shaquille O’Neal.
In November 2024, the guys were on-hand to watch the Lakers take on the Toronto Raptors, and, earlier this month, they attended another game at Cypto.com Arena, watching the Lakers battle the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers won both of those games.

Following his split from Jennifer Lopez, Ben has been spending a great deal of time with his kids.
“The kids are a top priority, as they always have been,” a source told People magazine in an article published in August 2024. JLo shares 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
Ben and Garner are also parents to Violet, 19, and Fin, 16. Violet has often been compared to her mom, as the two are nearly identical in some photos.
